The Torah of Hashem is perfect, restoring the soul.
The testimony of Hashem is trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The edicts of Hashem are upright, giving joy to the heart.
The command of Hashem is clear, enlightening the eyes.
The fear of Hashem is pure, enduring forever.
The judgments of Hashem are truth and altogether righteous.
They {the above} are more desirable than gold, than much fine gold;
and sweeter than honey
and drippings of honeycombs.
In addition, your servant is scrupulous in them,
since they are guards {of the} great foundation {support}.
Mistakes, Who can discern?
Cleanse me from unperceived faults.
Also from willful sins; restrain your servant, let them not rule me,
Then will I be strong and will be cleansed of great transgression.
May the expressions of my mouth
and the thoughts of my mind find favor before You,
Hashem my Rock and my Redeemer. Tehillim 19 8-15
