Pointing A Finger

A common practice is assigning responsibility/guilt to someone or something for an incident that is usually not good. Accusations are charges or claims that the accused has done something illegal or wrong. The practice of blaming others dates back thousands of years to our first parents and the serpent. Adam blamed The Lord and Eve for his sin. And the man/Adam said to The Lord, ‘The wife whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.’ Genesis 3.12

The Midrash states that The Lord God Himself Brought Eve to Adam. The Lord God plaited her hair in braids and adorned Eve with twenty-four different ornaments. Shabbat 95a, Eiruvin 18aRabbi Dr. H.
