font-size: 20px;\">vigilance is acquired through Torah knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Learning, studying Torah opens our hearts and minds to the TRUTH.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">These are the generations of Noach (Noach) , a righteous (Tzadik) man, perfect in his generations, (Everything from Aleph to Tav) of Elokim Noach walked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Noah\u2019s name is written twice, together to show us to pay attention to what is being said about him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">So how do we get from such a righteous man to chapter 11 where the languages are confused?\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Noah <strong><em>walked<\/em><\/strong> with G-d.\u00a0 Noah had to keep his mind constantly focused on G-d. <span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Torah Chumash Bereishis\u00a0 Kehot Publication Society page 46<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Noah lived among corrupt generations of people as we do.\u00a0 We must also keep our minds constantly focused on G-d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Bereishit (Genesis) 9.1 And G-d(Elokim) Blessed (everything from Aleph to Tav) of Noah and his sons, and Said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill (everything from Aleph to Tav) of the earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">Bereishit (Genesis) 11.1-4<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they lived there:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">And they said one to another, Come, let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly; And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>And they said, Come, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">G-d Told Noah and his sons to be fruitful, and multiply and fill everything from Aleph to Tav of the earth.\u00a0 This generation chose to do the opposite of what G-d had instructed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">These first generations of mankind had a greater knowledge of Kabbalah that we have today.\u00a0 There have been many Tzaddik (Righteous Men) throughout mankind\u2019s history but of the early generations there was a general knowledge of Kabbalah.\u00a0 They wanted to build a structure to reach into heaven.\u00a0 One reason was that they wanted to prevent another deluge.\u00a0 The most important reason was that they wanted to usurp G-d\u2019s Authority from Him and use it for their evil purposes.\u00a0 See\u2026\u2026 .\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Torah Commentary by Rabbi Bachya ben Asher Lambda Publishers, Inc pages 206 &amp; 207.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">They built a structure according to Kabbalistic means.\u00a0 It had 70 steps, a mile per step.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">They had calculated the precise number of steps needed to ascend to heaven\u00a0 (70) [according to Pirke de Rabbi Eliezer, the number reflects 70 miles, a mile per step.\u00a0 Ed.]\u00a0 The number may also allude to the 70 representatives of the 70 nations in the celestial spheres.\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Torah Commentary by Rabbi Bachya ben Asher Lambda Publishers, Inc. page 208<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">The Midrash says\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026\u2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">They betook themselves away from the Ancient\u00a0 (Adam kadmon) of the world, saying, \u00a0<strong><em>We refuse to accept either Him or His Divinity<\/em><\/strong><em>.<\/em>\u00a0THAT THEY FOUND A PLAIN. R. Judah said: All the nations of the world assembled to discover which plain would hold them all, and eventually they found it.\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Midrash Rabba 38.7<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">AND LET US MAKE A NAME \u05e9\u05b5\u05c1\u05dd (SHEM). The School of R. Ishmael taught: SHEM (A NAME) means nought else but an idol. LEST WE BE SCATTERED ABROAD UPON THE FACE\u00a0 <span style=\"font-size: 12px;\">Midrash Rabba 38.8<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">Bereishit (Genesis) 11.5<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">And Came Down \u2013 HaShem \u2013 to See \u2013 everything from Aleph to Tav \u2013 the city \u2013 and everything from Aleph to Tav \u2013 the tower \u2013 that \u2013 built \u2013 sons of \u2013 Ha Adam.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">The Torah did want us to know that basically their sin was of the same category as that of the first man. \u2026.The Torah stresses that they behaved not just like ordinary human beings but like the first human being, Adam [as opposed to 5.1 where the Torah describes<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 28px;\">\u05d6\u05b6\u05d4 \u05e1\u05b5\u05e4\u05b6\u05e8 \u05ea\u05bc\u05d5\u05b9\u05dc\u05b0\u05d3\u05b9\u05ea \u05d0\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05dd<\/span> \u00a0<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><em>This is the book of the generations of Adam<\/em>, without the letter<\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 28px;\"> \u05d4<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">in from of the word<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 28px;\">\u05d0\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05dd<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">The words<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 28px;\">\u05d1\u05b0\u05bc\u05e0\u05b5\u05d9 \u05d4\u05b8\u05d0\u05b8\u05d3\u05b8\u05dd <\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\">are a hint that these people were like the first human being and the Torah had indicated that the people of the deluge had sinned by denying that there is something higher than the emanation<\/span> <span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 20px;\">Their sin consisted of the words they said, i.e. <em>let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make us a name<\/em>.\u00a0 The power of speech, the words we say have repercussions.\u00a0 They bring into existence either good or evil.\u00a0 So G-d Confused their languages \u2013 the punishment fit the crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>As you can see there is always more than face value in every Torah pasuk.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 20px;\"><strong>vigilance is acquired through Torah knowledge.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
