font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>The Journey Begins<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Bereishit (Genesis) 12.9 And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the South<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 24pt;\">\u05d5\u05b7\u05d9\u05b4\u05bc\u05e1\u05b7\u05bc\u05e2 \u05d0\u05b7\u05d1\u05b0\u05e8\u05b8\u05dd \u05d4\u05b8\u05dc\u05d5\u05b9\u05da\u05b0 \u05d5\u05b0\u05e0\u05b8\u05e1\u05d5\u05b9\u05e2\u05b7 \u05d4\u05b7\u05e0\u05b6\u05bc\u05d2\u05b0\u05d1\u05b8\u05bc\u05d4<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">And journeyed \u2013 Abram \u2013 going \u2013 and traveling \u2013 to the South(Negev)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">The South signifies warmth and kindness.\u00a0 Abram moved steadily toward the South, toward kindness.\u00a0 His love for HaShem intensified as he increased his acts of kindness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">There is a series of steps, journeys that one must take to obtain Devekut.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Devarim (Deuteronomy) 4.4 But you who held fast to the L-rd your G-d are alive every one of you this day<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Devarim (Deuteronomy) 10.20 You shall fear the L-rd your G-d; Him shall you serve, and to Him shall you hold fast, and swear by His Name<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Devarim (Deuteronomy) 13.5 You shall walk after the L-rd your G-d, and fear Him, and keep His Commandments(Mitzotav), and obey\u00a0 His Voice, and you shall serve Him, and hold fast to Him.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Histavut is the ability to STOP and CONNECT with HaShem G-d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Rabbi Abulafia said that one who has Histavut is one who has attained true passion and is not influenced by the blessings or curses of others.\u00a0 In other words <strong>Equanimity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'times new roman', times, serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Man&#8217;s \/ Woman&#8217;s\u00a0 soul is HaShem\u2019s lamp, which searches out all the innermost parts <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Mishlei (Proverbs) 20.21<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">The soul of man possesses a bright candle with which a person can plumb the depths of the world and gain knowledge of its secrets.\u00a0 The Torah illuminates a person\u2019s soul and allows him to see a clear path upon which to walk. <span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Artscroll Mishlei Volume 2 page 411<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">In Kabbalistic and Chasidic terminology, man\u2019s forms of behavior, thought speech and deed, are called <em>Garments of the Soul<\/em>, because it is through these <em>Garments<\/em> that the soul is expressed.\u00a0 The goal of man\u2019s life lies in the perfection of his \/ her garments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Garments of the Divine Soul (Neshamah) are Mitzvot because just like garments are outside the body so are the Mitzvot.\u00a0 Mitzvot are expressions of HaShem\u2019s Will.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Thought, speech and deed are within man\u2019s control.\u00a0 He \/ She can choose to Observe Mitzvot or not to.\u00a0 Mitzvot are there to help with the perfection of his \/ her garments, his \/ her Neshamah.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Tehilim (Psalm) 37.27 Depart from evil, and do good; and you shall abide for ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Joshua sent spies to Jericho to delve into the minds, the souls of the people there.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 18pt;\">Yehoshua (Joshuah) 2.1 And Joshua the son of Nun sent two men out of Shittim to spy secretly, saying, Go see the land and Jericho.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;
