Deuteronomy 7:12 - 11:25 Gematria is a particular study of Jewish mysticism based on the numerical value of Hebrew letters in the Aleph Bais {Hebrew alphabet} as inscribed in the Torah. Jewish Gematria has many disciplines. This study of mysticism in Hebrew Gematria is dedicated in the loving memory of Mrs. Ethel Belk, may she rest in peace. If you would like to dedicate a Gematria lesson for our cyberspace class in the memory of a dear friend or loved one we will do this for a gift of Chai, $18.00 American dollars. We read the following words: This is a long phrase that means: For Hashem, your G-d, is G-d over judges and L-rd over lords; the Alm-ghty - the Great... The regular Gematria is 570 and the Gematria Kotel is 613 From right to left: Kee Hashem Eh - Loh - Hay Chem Hoo Eh - Loh - Hay Haw Eh - Loh - Heem Vah Ah - Doh - Nay Haw Ah Doh Neem Haw AyL Hah Gaw Dol 570 = 56 + 106 + 58 + 91 + 71 + 110 + 78 In Deut. 32:11 Moshe describes Hashem as an eagle watching over His people. "As an eagle stirs up her nest, fluttering over her young, spreading abroad her wings, taking them, bearing them on her wings:" This in essence is describing G-d like an eagle that soars above all other birds, that from His high and lofty perch He watchs over His people, etc... The Gematria for Ki Neh Shehr, meaning Eagle is 570. From right to left: Ki Neh Shehr Dovid Ha Meleck describes Hashem as our protector, Hashem shall guard you from all evil: He shall preserve your soul. Tehellim 121:7 The Gematria for Yeesh Mawr Cawh, meaning :Guard you is 570. Yeesh Mawr Cawh When our Father Yaakov had his vision of angels ascending and descending to the heavens He said, "How dreadful is this place! This is none other than the house of G-d, and this is the gate of heaven." Gen. 28:17 When B'nei Yisroel sinned in the incident of the molten calf, "Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, 'Who is on Hashem's side? Let him come to me.' All the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him. And he said to them, 'Hashem, G-d of Israel said, 'Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.''" Exodus 32:26, 27 The gate of the city is described as a place of performing judgment... "Then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them with stones that they die..." Deut. 22:24 and Deut. 21:19 The gate is the court where issues are heard
and judged... Deut. 22:15; 25:7 The Gematria for Shah Ahr, meaning Gate is 570... From right to left: Shah Ahr In the Gematria of 613 we see the fulfillment of the 613 mitzvahs, the honoring, the observing of Hashem's commmands by us Jews as an acknowledgement that "Hashem, your G-d, is G-d over judges and L-rd over lords; the Alm-ghty - the Great..." We also see G-d as Creator when He said, "I will obliterate mankind which I have created from the face of the earth from man to beast to the creeping things and to the birds of the heaven, for I regret that I made them." Genesis 7:7 This was of course when man's heart was continually evil when man sinned the entire day, when man had no redeeming qualities, when man refused to acknowledge Hashem as G-d over judges and L-rd over lords; the Alm-ghty - the Great... The Gematria of Baw Raw Tee, meaning "I have created" is 613 From right to left:
Holy reader, this is a remminder that there is One above us watching over us that there is One who does care for us, that there is One concerned as to how we treat each other, that there is One who dearly wants us to follow His commands. This is a reminder to the judges that G-d as the Judge is watching. This is a reminder to the governors {the lords} that Hashem as L-rd is watching. This is a reminder to the Rabbium that Hashem as the Alm-ghty is watching every action... like an eagle guarding each gate of our life... the gates of worship and sacrifice... the gates of action and judgment.. the gates of heaven and earth... Wishing you the best, Akiva
